When I first met Ellie and Baron, I knew we were kindred souls. One of the first things they told me was that they had met online in a game called League of Legends, which struck a nerdy chord deep within me since my husband and I also met through gaming! It may not be the most romantic story out there, but it was nice to bond with another couple who had a similar history.

They had a lovely outdoor wedding at the amphitheater just inside Lory State Park, complete with lawn games, barbecue, and dancing. Their wedding day truly reflected their personalities: quiet, laid back, and with just the right amount of nerdy hints sprinkled throughout their decor, which I of course couldn’t resist capturing in their photography.

I could tell how much fun their friends and family were having and how happy the two of them were to finally be husband and wife.  It was the perfect way to spend a late summer evening and just another reason why I love Colorado Outdoor Weddings!
