The Stanley Hotel is on my bucket list – I’ve been to Estes Park twice and just haven’t had a chance to go there! Anyway, your photos are GORGEOUS! Congrats to the lovely couple! ReplyCancel

Mariah & Lance’s Hoosier Pass elopement was one of my absolute favorites, largely because of all the things they did to make the day truly what they wanted. First of all, it was technically *two days*. Like many couples, they struggled with the decision to have either a small elopement or a large wedding. They...

Jewish Wedding Ceremony – Wild Basin Lodge – Allenspark, Colorado

Tracy and Justin chose a Wild Basin Lodge wedding, just like Nate and I.  AND they were only a few days off from our anniversary! I felt like we were kindred spirits of sorts as soon as we met and that feeling only increased throughout the wedding day. I knew Tracy was an absolute fanatic...

Apricity Images partners with Denver Dumb Friends League

When I was a little girl, I wanted a dog SO bad. I was relentless. I did a lot of research to tell my parents why we should get one (which was a lot harder to do in the 90s). My parents finally gave in and we adopted an adorable Chow-mix fluffball from the Denver...

Riverside engagement | Lyons, Colorado

When I first met Brianna and Scott, I immediately knew they were an adventurous couple. Their first idea was to take engagement photos inside a gym. However, the logistics and timing of finding a place that would allow it proved difficult. Instead, they opted for outdoor engagement photos and chose a hiking path outside of...

Buddhist Wedding Ceremony | Shambhala Mountain Center | Red Feather Lakes, Colorado

One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer in Colorado is discovering “hidden” gems around our state. I had often seen a colorful dome peeking out of the forest between Fort Collins and Laramie, but I never knew quite what it was. When Mireille and Josh told me their Red Feather Lakes wedding...

Western-themed Wedding | Evergreen Lake House | Evergreen, Colorado

Melissa and Matt had grand plans for an Evergreen Lake House wedding with a ceremony on the lake, but the weather certainly kept us on our toes. As I pulled up to the hotel where they were getting ready, the clouds were rolling in ominously. The girls were checking the weather every few minutes and...

Silent Wedding Ceremony at Snowy Range Lodge | Centennial, Wyoming

As soon as I met Sarah and Andrew, I knew this was going to be a special wedding. First of all, they are two of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met. They have already faced significant challenges early in their relationship and supported each other unconditionally throughout. And, while many brides may...

Chief Hosa Lodge Wedding | Genesee, Colorado

One of the best parts of being a Colorado Wedding Photographer is discovering all the beautiful locations this state has to offer! This was my second Chief Hosa Lodge wedding, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite “hidden” venues. Owned and managed by the Denver Parks Department, it’s a beautiful stone building with fantastic...

Broadmoor Hotel Wedding | Colorado Springs, Colorado

I love when a couple uses a venue that holds special significance to them. In this case, Liz and Scott chose to hold the ceremony in her childhood church. Liz loved the idea of a Broadmoor wedding, but wanted the ceremony itself to be held at St. Paul’s Catholic church.  They struck the perfect balance! ...
